Alternatively, you can find a full-text copy of the novel online, or download an ebook version, and simply use your device's or browser's search function to locate a phrase in the quote. Try searching for an unusual cluster of words within your quote, such as "all possible tragedy" or "superhuman understanding." If one cluster of words doesn't turn up anything in the search, try a different one. Sometimes the search function has trouble recognizing the text in the particular spot you're looking for, especially with older novels like this one, which was probably translated into its computerized form by a program that may have misinterpreted individual letters.
Lastly, another way to find a quote when you're not sure where to start looking is to simply Google it.
